週末にハイドパークへお散歩へ行ったら、スピーカーズ·コーナーの近くで多くの人が集まっているのを発見しました。遠くから見たときは、スピーカーズ・コーナーが再開されたのかなと思ったのですが、近くに寄ってみると違いました。
多くの人が集まっていたのは、5Gへのデモのためだったのです。
今世の中でたくさんの人が病気になって、亡くなっているのは、コロナなんかのせいではない。コロナは政府が5Gのカモフラージュのために作られた嘘だ！5G反対！といった看板を持っている人が70名ほど集まっていました。
コロナウイルスが流行りだした時に、5Gのせいでコロナが流行したという情報が出回っていたのは知っていましたが、まさか今でもこの世の中の状況は5Gのせいだとデモをしている人がいたことに、びっくりしました。
しかも怖いことに、デモで集まっている人の誰一人としてマスクをしていなかったことです。
デモで5Gに反対するのは別にいいのですが、デモに参加してたくさん人が集まる時はマスクをしてほしいなと思いました。。。
【英語日記】Against 5G
I went to Hyde park last weekend and saw a big group of people near Speaker's corner. Because of Corona virus, recently it is so rare to see a lot of people gathering. I wondered why so many people gathered together so I got a bit closer to them and investigated.
I saw some people had a board saying that "stop 5G".
I was astonished because some people really believed this pandemic was caused by 5G and non of them wore face covers. I know there is rumour that 5G is not good for our health but as far as I know no scientist said 5G was the reason for Covd-19.
It's okay to against 5G but I hope people who protest for that wear face covering when they gather together.

【英語日記】ネイティブの添削から学んだこと
今回英語で日記を書いて、ネイティブに添削をしてもらって学んだことは、rumourは可算名詞ということです。
形として目に見えないので、ついつい a や 複数のｓを忘れてしまいますが、rumourは数えられる！また一つ勉強になりました。
そしてちなみにromourの綴りですが、romourはイギリス英語なんですね。アメリカ英語ではrumor。学校ではアメリカ英語を習いましたが、今イギリスに住んでいるので、私の綴り方はアメリカ英語とイギリス英語がごちゃ混ぜになっているんじゃないかなと思います。
