イギリスでは7月4日よりレストランやパブが再開
パンデミックの影響で100日以上閉まっていたレストランやパブ、バーが、7月4日より再開します。レストランなどが再開するというニュースやいろいろなものが元に戻ってきていると聞くのは嬉しいニュースです。ですがそれと同時に7月4日にレストランが再開されても、まだすぐにはレストランに行くのは怖いなと思っています。
多くの人が明日からレストランやパブが開くことを楽しみにしていますが、残念がながらロックダウンの制限が緩くなるからと言って、コロナウイルスがなくなる訳ではありません。それでも長い間外食をせず、パブでビールを楽しむことが出来なかったので、多くの人が待ち遠しにしているのもわかります。私はレストランやパブが再開されてからすぐに行くかはわかりませんが、早く元の状態にもどり、外食を楽しめるようになればいいなと思います。
【英語日記】Restaurants and Pubs reopen
From 4th of July, restaurants, pubs and bars will be open again after they have been closed over 100 days because of the Pandemic.
It is good to hear the shops and restaurants start to open again and everything is getting back to normal but at the same time, I feel still scary to go to restaurants right after they reopen on 4th of July.
Some people seem excited about reopening restaurants and pubs from tomorrow but easing lockdown restrictions doesn't mean that the world becomes Covid free yet, unfortunately.
But it have been a long time since people have eaten out or have enjoyed paints of beers, so I can understand their feelings. I don't think I will go to restaurants and pubs soon but I hope the world will get back to normal soon and I can enjoy eating out too.

まずは、Still の位置。
still は usually などと同じで、一般動詞と一緒に使いたい時は、
S + still + V でしたね。私はついついこういった単語があっちゃこっちゃに行ってしまうので、気を付けないといけないです。
続いて、Some people seem excited about reopening restaurants and pubs (from) tomorrow の部分です。ここのfromはいらないと直されたのですが、別のネイティブスピーカーにはどちらでもいいと言われました。
- from がない場合は、「reopen が始まるのが明日から」と明確にイメージが出来るそうです。
- from がある場合は、その日から徐々に開いていくレストランやパブが増えていくイメージだそうです。
どちらでもOKとのこと。
確かに言語なので、必ずこれだけが正解といった答えはないですね。
